This is an introduction class. Learn and experience simple meditation & mindfulness practices that you can integrate into daily life; to reduce stress, and to enhance your productivity & enjoyment of life.

$60 for the two-session class - par ticipantsmust be able to attend both Sundays

SESSION 1 - Meditation: Letting Go of Stress;
Tapping Into Your Innate Health and Well-Being
the mind-body connection and the power of thought
breath and body awareness, relaxation and concentration
developing a daily meditation practice
living and working in the here and now
peace of mind and the body’s restorative power
purposeful pauses to reset and recharge

SESSION 2 - Mindfulness: Opening the Mind & Heart
the process of self-inquiry and self-expansion
disengaging from habits, emotions, & reactions
seeking gratitude, wisdom & inspiration
cultivating loving kindness and compassion
reducing common energy drains
mindful use of technology

Cheryl Petersen is a certified
meditation instructor, and high school
counselor. She has been in the
counseling field for over 25 years.
Cheryl leads Community Meditation at
Mountain Sol Yoga, and teaches
meditation & mindfulness classes as
Range of Light Meditation.
