SPRING BLOOM: Nourishing Herbs & Self Care Rituals

  • Mountain Sol Yoga 3399 Main Street Mammoth Lakes, CA, 93546 United States (map)

Spring is here! We are so excited to see the plants waking up from their winter slumber! As they do, so many of our green friends are ready to share themselves as Nourishment for our mind, body, and spirit. Join us as we learn all about NOURISHMENT and the significance of Self Care!

In this workshop we will focus on Nourishing herbal teas and infusions, using local plants we can find right outside our homes, in our gardens, or on our favorite local walking or hiking trails!  As well as discussions on nourishment as a SIMPLE practice that can be fit into everyday life, Self Care Rituals, and the importance of Self Care as Nourishment. Topics will also include nourishing foods, medicine making, introduction to plant communication (also known as Plant Spirit Medicine) and more!

What you should bring: Water! A notebook or journal and something to write with. Anything you might want to add to our altar: plants, flowers, crystals, personal items! We will be sitting for a large portion of this class so please bring anything you might want or need to be comfortable! *Please note: You are welcome to make your own medicine during this class! However, supplies for this will not be provided. Please bring your own PINT size mason jar, bowl, scissors, and apple cider vinegar, honey, or high grain alcohol (I recommend Titos Vodka)! If this is something you are interested in please let me know ahead of time via email (or in person) so I can be sure to bring enough Plant materials for everyone!

Cost for this workshop is $25-$35 sliding scale. Please pay what feels good for YOU! You will be provided with handouts, tea(s), infusions, and the opportunity to try herbal medicines! Plants used will depend on snow melt and accessibility and are therefore TBD! This will be my last offering in Mammoth before heading back to the East Coast! Hope to see you all there :)
