“NEW MOON WORKSHOP: Learn to make your own Plant Medicine!

SIGN UP HERE  In this workshop we will learn how to make our own herbal offerings for common ailments, such as cough cold & flu made from plants and “weeds” growing locally right outside our doors! As well as discussions on food as medicine, traditions of healing, intention setting, and an introduction into plant communication techniques, otherwise known as plant spirit medicine!

What you will go home with: 1 jar of your very own plant medicine elixir, instructions for making herbal goods at home, local plant ID & information handout, and intentions for self care, practices and healing for you and your community!

What you should bring: Water! A notebook or journal and something to write with. Scissors, a large bowl, and newspaper (for medicine making- I will bring extra!), anything you might want to add to our altar; i.e., crystals, candles, flowers, personal items. We will be sitting for a large portion of this class so please bring anything you might need or want to make you feel comfortable!

Cost for this workshop is a $40-$60 sliding scale. Please pay what feels good and realistic. All materials and supplies will be provided. *Please note: We will be working with local plants, organic apple cider vinegar, and local honey. If you have any allergies contact Taylor at tenthousandmoons@gmail.com directly before to discuss. Plants used will depend on snow melt and accessibility, therefore are TBD.

Taylor Van Eynde (Ten Thousand Moons) is an esthetician, practicing herbalist, and plant based chef originally from Mammoth Lakes, CA. She now resides on the East Coast splitting her time between the Green Mountains of Vermont and urban West Philadelphia. “By weaving ancestral practices of my Northern European lineage with modern and folk herbalism, a passion for food as medicine, beauty ritual, and accessibility to holistic lifestyle for all, my mission is to build a bridge from Earth-based living to the realities of today’s modern society in an inclusive, friendly, educational, and mindful way.
