Fall Equinox Gratitude & Grounding, Yin & Yang Special Event

  • Mountain Sol Yoga 3399 Main Street Mammoth Lakes, CA, 93546 United States (map)

As the season changes from summer to fall, we notice a transition in the environment around us. Cool winds increase the dryness introducing a light, airy, floating quality. The mornings and evenings are cool and foliage is bursting with earthy but vibrant colors
.
As humans, we are also affected by the natural cycle of the seasons. Fall is a time of transition for us as well. With the predominance of Vata (Ayurvedic dosha) season, we become cooler and drier physically. We may seem less stable and grounded, transpiring an increase in labile emotions and reactions.

Embracing a sense of warmth, grounding, stability and focus into your yoga practice has a profoundly calming effect on vata and can work wonders during vata season.

Come join Neva as she guides you through a Fall Equinox practice focusing on grounding and strength. Connect with the earth beneath you and your inner self, help quiet the mind and bring balance to your life.

This special seasonal "Yin & Yang" practice will start with some warming and grounding postures and focus on building strength and stability. Then the practice will end with a restorative and balancing focus. Candlelight and essential oils will be used.

Cost: $10 drop in special, bring a friend and receive a discount for each of you ($8 each person). Use of class passes and punch card permitted except 30 for $30 pass.
