OUR STUDIO & PHILOSOPHY:
Our space is dedicated to allowing oneself to retreat from the external world and to deepen into the inner self, promoting a greater connection between mind, body and spirit. The 8 Limbs of Yoga is a pathway we practice, teach and encourage amongst ourselves and our students. We move from the external self to the internal self using each limb of yoga (Patanjali's Yoga Sutras).
At Mountain Sol Yoga, we believe there is meaning and purpose to each life beyond the physical. Each teacher brings a different perspective to the practice but we all strive to help our students move along their individual path and remind ourselves that we are more than a physical vessel. While fitness is a benefit of yoga, we must practice a yogic lifestyle, physical asanas and meditation in order to go deeper into the self, eventually working past the ego. What we find there may be a benefit to not only ourselves but the world.
